White Cat gasped, pain and shock paralzing him. Lying on the wall, he knew he should move, but he didn't. Limbs frozen with shock, White Cat stared at Aterno, mouth open. I... he... why?

Aterni turned toward Adrian. "Trash cans, moonrise, sharp." Aterni then glanced back at WHite Cat, and gave one last hiss: "Don't feel lucky. It's not worth killing a scrap of fur like you!" And with that, he streaked away, a black blur.
OOC: What a mean bastard!

((Uh huh. *growls*)) Slowly White Cat stood up. Mouth open, he watched Aterni streaky away. Then, slowly, he left, his limbs shaking. Just get to the Neutral Strip. The Neutral Strip.

Adrian watched as Aterni streaked off, then looked at White Cat. Are you going to be OK? I know I'm not supposed to help anyone outside my Gang, but no one cares about me, and I don't want to be the same. He flicked his tail back and forth, waiting for an answer. Moonrise. Trash cans. Thats where we'll talk. I'm glad it'll be late when everyone is sleeping, but... I just don't know. Something tells me Aterni may be angry with me for discussing my Deputy-ship.

White Cat look at Adrian, mouth moving, words not coming out. "Maybe we should talk at the Neutral strip," he managed. He was the deputy, and today White Cat had learned that he couldn't trust gang cats. At the strip, Adrian, would not legally be able to harm him.

Adrian dipped his head. Very well. Can you make it, or do I need to carry you? He meowed in his quiet voice. The wind began to pick up speed, ruffling his black and white pelt. His amber eyes were slits, but almost as if mournful, alone, and betrayal in their depts.

White Cat shivered. No. No! You won't be weak. You'll be strong. "No, I'll be fine," White Cat said. Struggling to his feet, he limped off to the neutral strip.
((To- White Cat & Adrian))

The Raven glanced around as the cats walked off. "Once again." She spoke to the silence. "I am alone." With this parting word she walked off into the shadows.
