Rank, Clan, & Name: Glaci Warrior Sunbright
Age: 50 Moons
Gender: Tom
Personality Description
Sunbright is a kind soul. He really doesn't care about the fact that there are several different clans, but has been a warrior long enough to see the importance of the diversity of traditions and the importance of feeling a sense of belonging to a clan and not just a group. Despite his apathy towards the clans order, he is fiercely loyal to clan, but not so that he is blind. He knows when to give into other clans and when they are right and he wrong. However, he has his vices. He has a certain love of hares and rabbits and sometimes he gets into trouble trying to catch one that wondered away from WindClan territory. Though he is loyal is to his clan, again, he is not stupid. He will voice his opinions and protect those who he sees as weaker than him and in need of protection, even if he needs to stand up to his leader or other leaders.
Appearance Description
His pelt color is a rich gold-brown color that lights and softens as it nears his stomach. He resembles an Egyptian Mau with his pelt markings; small dark black-brown spots that run in stripe patterns that rap around his whole body except chest and neck, both of which are free of spots; but he lacks the body build, which is lithe and his muscular. The spots become stripe-like bands as you near his legs and head. On his head, the stripes come together to make a dark patch on the back of his head, so only some stripes show peeking over the top of his head and some sneak around to leave streaks on his cheeks. He has a unique eye marking that vary much resembles the mark of which the ancient Egyptians would paint on the eyes of their hieroglyphs. Common in cats, his nose is a darker color than is over-all fur, making it a red-brown color. His tail is long and thin, and is practically black, for the black of his stripes cover his tail in a stripe that runs along its back and a band pattern that runs along it. His eyes are close to the color of his fur, only greener.
History Description
When born to his mother, Brightflower, it was believed that she was barren, so he was a miracle of Ceale. She did not birth any other kit than him and was fiercely protective of him, and would often over react if the other kits or gang members would get hostile or even play to rough. Thus, Sunbright's kitten hood went without much event, except a fight he had with an apprentice that got him in trouble and the apprentice.
When apprenticed, Sunbrigth was naught but trouble. He was notorious for poking his head into other beast's business, literally. The worst thing that happened to him, he claims, was when he had to clean the elder's pelt's of ticks and had spilled mouse bile all over him, during which, even his mother had to keep a distance. However fighting a fox more then once in his mischievous younger life.
On the night of his warrior ceremony, the moon was just waning after the night of the Gathering, and Sunbright's pelt had shone with all it's brilliance it could in the pure, silver light. When new to being a warrior, he discovered the fact that he slept-walked. He knew this, for many times he would wake up in the Apprentice den when the other warriors swore he fell asleep in the Warrior's den. This, of course, made him a common source of amusement among the elder clan-mates. Thus his earlier warrior years past. Normal enough, with the common boarder patrol clashes, hunting patrol fights. However, one of these was unique. When 28 moons old, Sunbright witnessed his former mentor feed another cat not from Glaci. When Sunbright questioned her, his mentor at first denied it, then when Sunbright threatened to tell the clan leader, his mentor then pleaded, and then demanded that Sunbright stay silent. When Sunbright still demanded answers, his mentor attacked him and injured him, physically and emotionally. When he still told the leader, his mentor was questioned, and it turned out that his mentor had kin outside the clans and requested to leave the clan to become a loner. When Sunbright asked his mentor later, his mentor said that her half-brother had been very hungry and had escaped from his twolegs. Sunbright then learn that the half brother, Tiger, needed his mentors help more than then clan.
Sunbright mused over his mentor's reasons for leaving the clan, for he had always thought that the clan came first, family sencond, himself last, until, the fateful day his mother grew ill and leaf-bare came. Sunbright then knew what family really was. With his new-found knowledge, Sunbright swore to do everything he could for his mother. Two nights afterward, he dreamt of running with his mentor, and then stopping to watch as his mother ran off with her. His mother stopped to say good-bye, and then left with the advice of: "Never doubt, never fail." This has been Sunbright's motto, for that night, his mother died. After this, Sunbright decided family was always first.
His father was distant with him for most of Sunbright's life. Until they fought side-by-side in a small battle with rouges. In this battle, Sunbright watched his father fight and grew envious, and later found out the vise-versa. When Sunbright's father collapsed from fatigue and blood-loss, Sunbright fought hard to keep the rouges from his father and stayed by Stripeback as his father lay dying. When the rouges fled, it was too dangerous and late to move Stripeback, so Sunbright offered to stay his father's side until Brightflower came to call her lover to Ceale. Thus, Sunbright found out how his father was envious of his son's strength and will to survive. Stripeback made Sunbright promise to use his strength for only the good things. Thus, Stripeback, father of Sunbrigth and brave warrior, died, his life leaving with the sun as it set. Now, having no family left, Sunbright sometimes wonders, what really ties you to your clan? Your blood, or your training. He never thinks of leaving though. Another thing that happened that impacted Sunbright greatly, was his mentor's death. While out hunting alone he discovered his mentors tattered corpse out of the clans' territory. Sunbright dutifly buried her, when no one else was around because she was no longer a Glaci member.
Sunbright is waiting for an apprentice for the moment, and really doesn't find himself in much trouble anymore. He seems to have acquired his father's strength and indomitable spirit. Sunbright so far, has one goal: "Never doubt, never fail."

Sunbright walked along the deserted streets, pondering recent events. A single Twolegs sat in a corner under a street-lamp. The scent of old, dusty papers and shops wafted through the air. Sunbright glanced around to look for a trash-can. He found one and cug through it fruitlessly. He finally settled for a bone with alittle meat on it. He picked at the meat, then sighed. The dark night seemed to strech on around him. A stray dog wondered close, but lost interest. A few bats fluttered past the lamp. Sunbright took in the night and grinned softly. It was his home. He was happy with it.
